We place immense importance on providing our customers and partners with as much information about our products as possible. This is why we would like to take this opportunity to talk about our key ingredient, aloe vera gel. It is important to make a distinction between the plant itself and one of its key components, the inner leaf juice or “ gel ”.
Aloe vera gel comes from the inner leaf of the aloe plant. To extract it, we must carefully separate it from both the skin and natural anthraquinone called “ aloin. ” The AloeVeritas™ proprietary extraction method uses a natural osmotic pressure process to ensure that the gel does not contain any of the aloin found in the plant. We extract the gel by hand, only. But don’t worry, aloin isn’t poisonous; it just has an unpleasant odor, tastes very bitter, and has a strong laxative effect which is why we like to avoid it.
Thanks to painstaking scientific work and research undertaken over decades, experts have so far discovered that aloe vera gel contains 220 substances, each one of which has its own effect. Pure and natural Aloe vera contains 18 amino acids, plus vitamins A, B1, B2, B3, B6, C, and E, sodium, potassium, calcium, phosphorus, magnesium, and chloride, as well as traces of magnesium and zinc, including other nutrients. Taken internally, aloe can help fight infection, boost the immune system, aid digestion, remove toxic material from the digestive organs, and relieve inflammation in the joints and gut.
Scientists widely agree that it is Acemannan and the 14 mucomonosaccharides and mucopolysaccharides that account for the greatest and virtually unknown effect of ingesting Aloe vera is how it strengthens the capacity of the small intestines to aid in the absorption of vital nutrients, resulting in greater absorption and thus increased bioavailability. Clinical studies have shown as much as a 300% increase.
Incredible, isn’t it? The inner leaves of the aloe vera plant continue to fascinate us. Try it for yourself – we’re sure that aloe vera will soon find a place in your heart as well!
